    Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. Lab126 began in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., originally creating the best-selling Kindle family of products. Since then, we have produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, and Echo. As part of Lab126, the Pre-Owned Business (POB) team manages the Sales of pre-owned devices and the Trade-In (TI) program strategy and execution. The TI program offers the consumers value for their existing electronic devices and reduces barriers for the purchase of new Amazon Devices.

    The POB team is looking for a dynamic, customer-obsessed leader with great relation management skills to join POB as the Senior Operations Manager. As part of this team you will work with vendors, product and operations teams to manage the expansion of the pre-owned business world-wide. You will need to be a strong general manager, problem solver, and innovator and you will need to have superior analytical, communication, presentation and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically with the ability to build and manage equally compelling operations. The Sr. Program Manager will work independently and be comfortable working with complex and cross functional teams at all levels, both internal and external.

    This person will lead our group in building the vendor strategy, manage vendor operations, build capabilities to maximize the recovery from the resale of the traded-in products. This role is central to the continued growth of the Pre-Owned division as it continues its fast paced growth and expansion from the sales of the Pre-Owned devices to driving upgrades through the Trade-In program.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree
    • 7+ years of Business Management, Program Management equivalent experience delivering solutions to market.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA preferred
    • 7+ years of Business Management, Program Management equivalent experience delivering solutions to market.
    • 5+ years working in the Consumer Electronics industry.
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, operations and other stakeholders to deliver and manage products/services.
    • Experience building, executing and managing vendor strategy and operations through KPIs, audit mechanisms and flawless execution.
    • Experience building sales channel strategy in the refurbished market balancing inventory and recovery.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
    • Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
    • Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment.
    • Strong team player, is an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards.
