    Amazon is looking for Software Development Engineers to build and scale the software that monitors one of the world’s largest and most complex networks. Tens of millions of customers rely on Amazon’s network for using our retail websites, streaming digital content, and building businesses using Amazon Web Services (AWS).     Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of work experience or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ year of work experience
    • Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
    • Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
    • Very strong problem solving and coding skills.
    • Understanding of data structures, algorithms and their performance.
    • Understanding of the building blocks of computer systems; comfortable working with bits & bytes.
    • Experience writing complex scripts and/or object-oriented code in programming languages such as Python and C++
