    Amazon is looking for a QA Engineer to join an exciting new project team working to build a completely new best in class consumer product.     We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to join the team that is more like a startup than a mature enterprise. QAE needs to be entrepreneurial, wear multiple hats, work in a highly collaborative environment, and own the testing process end-to-end. Responsibilities include defining test strategy and test plans and reviewing them with stakeholders, improving test coverage, reviewing and filling gaps in existing automation. Representing the customer, understanding how they use the system and including the most relevant end-to-end user scenarios in test plans and automation.

    Basic Qualifications

    • BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
    • 4+ years overall QAE experience
    • Experience working with product owners and developers to define user stories.
    • Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution.
    • Scripting and coding knowledge is required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
    • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
    • Prior experience testing Consumer Products or Audio devices will be highly preferred
    • · Experience with user-level automation frameworks and scripting with Python, or Java
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
    • Thought leadership on emerging quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
