    In this role, you will:
    • Do mobile application software design and development
    • Contribute expert-level development skills to develop performant consumer facing experiences for TV
    • Write clean, maintainable code and performing peer code-reviews
    • Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility
    • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules
    • Establish architectural principles, select design patterns and then mentor team members on their appropriate application
    • Work closely with internal teams to prioritize, design and build custom applications
    • Interact directly with internal and external partners to identify app requirements

    As a Senior Software Developer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and bring to market innovative consumer products. You will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team, and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and test. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. In this role, you will:
    • Responsible for system architecture and development for new product initiatives and feature development.
    • Investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions.
    • Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software.
    • Will establish architectural principles, select design patterns and then mentor team members on their appropriate application.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or 7+ year relevant work experience
    • 7+ years of professional experience in software development
    • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
    • Software development experience in Java, Linux/UNIX, Android, or relevant technologies.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts.
    • Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
    • Analytical and creative design skills and excellent communication skills
    • Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods
    • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
    • Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers to maintain architectural vision and software quality.
    • Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs.
