    The Role:
    The Manager, Engineering Program Specialist (EPS) leads the EPS team, owning Engineering documentation management through the product development process (PDP) and drives continuous process improvement to product data management processes.

    The EPS team provides seamless, rapid and global implementation of Bill of Materials (BOM), and product data supporting the product design requirements. EPS are also involved in the coordination and planning of engineering builds including configuration management deliverables to ensure the timely release of all assemblies to production.

    Working closely with Engineering Program Managers System Technical Program Managers, the EPS Manager will be deeply involved with supporting device programs. The role is responsible for leading a team who owns coordinating and managing project documentation, including, but not limited to, BOM, part specifications, mechanical/electrical drawings, engineering change orders and prototype build configuration matrices. The EPS role also maintains Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), purchase orders as well as prototype device allocation and device tracking.

    The role will also partner with Engineering, Operations and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) teams to drive on continuous process improvement to drive efficiency, accuracy and integrity of our product design and product configuration data and data management systems

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
    • 5+ years of exposure in Consumer Electronics
    • 3+ years managing a team
    • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools; Agile

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Exposure to system/device builds and planning
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple programs efficiently
