    The Role:

    As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Wireless, you will work with user application testing expertise. You will join the team of hands-on, proactive, self-motivated and seasoned software quality assurance professionals. In this role, you will:
    • Create test plans and test cases
    • Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality
    • Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
    • Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines
    • Find, isolate, document, regress and track bugs through resolution
    • Interpret and report testing results and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
    • Work with software development engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent
    • 5 years of software quality assurance testing experience in Wi-Fi/BT/Cellular domain
    • Experience in Python
    • 5 years of demonstrated experience in black box and grey box testing
    • Experience with standard QA and development tools

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Product experience with wireless consumer electronics
    • Hands-on experience in testing Android-based devices
    • Mobile client Bluetooth testing methodologies and standard QA and development tools for mobile connected devices
    • Isolating test failures in complex wireless systems
    • Experience in Bluetooth Concurrency and BT/Wi-Fi Coexistence testing and debugging wireless issues using standard Bluetooth tools such as BT packet sniffers
    • Creating reports based on functional and Bluetooth certification testing (BT-SIG/PTS) results
    • Solid understanding of QA tool development chains and environments
    • Operating within short release cycles
    • Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness
    • Demonstrated ability to operate and excel in an environment with short release cycles
