The AI Devices team within AWS is responsible for setting the AI device strategy and delivering machine learning capabilities across multiple devices and market segments to AWS customers.

As a Sr. Hardware Product Manager, you will own defining, executing, and delivering a technology roadmap that expands our device offerings and delivers new experiences to our customers. you will help drive technology innovation in the form of products, features, and platforms that deeply integrate hardware, software, and services. You will help create and drive the long-term strategy, vision, and roadmap, with a high degree of ownership over critical features and the customer experience.
This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely with engineering, science, operations, finance and executive teams to set technology strategy, define and prioritize features that can be implemented in silicon, which in turn help deliver new customer experiences for AWS AI devices. A successful candidate must be able to assess and build consensus around the most critical problems to be solved through a given suite of features in silicon, establish a feedback loop with the hardware architecture team, build multi-year roadmaps that intersect our long-term device strategy, and secure executive support for the features and technology roadmap. You’ll bridge technical and business worlds engaging with matrixed teams including engineering, operations, legal, and you must drive internal stakeholder and partner engagements necessary for the on-time launch of the product.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead Product Definition – Own and drive the customer working backwards strategy, tenets, long-term goals and working backwards documents (press release, FAQ) including customer and market feedback, competitive analysis and business metrics to inform direction.
Define Product Vision – Including all aspects to future roadmap, investment, innovation and experimentation.
Lead Technology Vision – Work with architecture and various technology teams to align technology development with product roadmap
Execution of Product Planning and Development – Including customer goals and business requirements for product release, ensuring implementation is aligned with product goals and requirements, and ownership of product positioning.
Lead Product Launch – Own the GTM plan to deliver results that ensure the customer and business goals are met in operational launch plans.
Lead Operations – Including monitoring and response to customer feedback, continuous improvement and business growth
Lead interaction with Technical Team – Including helping the technical team make tradeoffs based on customer requirements, QA/testing of the product.
Influence senior leaders across Amazon and communicate Amazon AI’s vision, strategy, goals, status, and customer impact
