As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be working with a unique and gifted team developing exciting products for consumers and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including Amazon Robotics.

    As a Software Development Engineer, you will be involved and help lead the development of algorithms involving real-world sensor data. You will be working with a unique and gifted team developing exciting products for consumers. The team is a multidisciplinary group of engineers and scientists engaged in a fast-paced mission to deliver the new products. The team faces a challenging task of balancing cost, schedule, and performance requirements. You should be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment and contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and meticulousness.

    Key responsibilities include algorithm development and collaborating with cross functional engineering teams including Amazon Robotics to bring the concepts into production. You will work with engineers to create prototype solutions, evaluate the systems for improvements, and build production solution

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning
    • Experience using basic tools to build working subsystems
    • Experience writing code in C/C++, on a Unix/Linux platform
    • Experience in design and architecture, including familiarity with object oriented design patterns

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Masters or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
    • Experience investigating, designing, prototyping, and delivering new and innovative system solutions
    • Excellent judgment, organizational, and problem solving skills
    • Comfortable taking initiative and working across teams
    • Knowledge of real-time software development
    • Can thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple, changing priorities
    • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and listening.
