Since then, we have produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create?

    The role:

    The Operations group is looking for an individual who wants to manage a team of program managers who work on developing cool products and that is growing at a rapid pace. We ensure ongoing support, grow the capabilities of our current systems to meet our needs, and drive continuous improvement for the company. In this role you will:
    • Develop and manage a team of Operations Program Managers who are responsible for supporting program development from concept through launch
    • Ensure programs achieves program milestones, meets quality requirements and meets/beats financial targets
    • Deliver results on complex program launches involving cross-functional teams
    • Work with stakeholders to define program business requirements
    • Understand current system capabilities and limitations
    • Problem solves with team on program hurdles
    • Coordinate with cross functional teams to implementation
    • Travel as required

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
    • 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines
    • 10+ years of experience in product or process definition, having taken a product or process from concept to execution75+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing for a hardware device company
    • 5+years leading cross functional teams

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master’s degree preferred
    • Proven ability to influence others and facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests
    • Previous experience leading and managing a team
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers, and team member
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to build effective relationships in a open collaborative environment
    • Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and utilization of complex systems
    • Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes
    • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, Access, is a plus
