The successful candidate for this Quality Assurance Lead role will be passionate about technically driving a team of talented QA engineers, obsessed with quality improvement, experienced and highly committed to creating world class automation for regression and feature testing, able to deliver within a fast paced delivery schedule and implement the test strategy in partnership with the development leadership. The successful candidate is an experienced QA Engineer with a track record of bringing consumer facing products to market.

Key responsibilities include:
▪ Understanding how all elements of the system software ecosystem work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy.
▪ Technically lead an elite team of QA engineers.
▪ Developing test strategies and creating appropriate test harnesses as well as pragmatic testing approaches.
▪ Driving testing methodology and tools to support agile development lifecycles.
▪ Developing and executing test plans and monitoring and reporting on test execution.
▪ Working with business and development teams to understand product requirements and testing needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering [or in lieu of a Master’s degree, at least a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of post-Bachelor’s degree progressive work experience]
  • 3+ years of software QA testing experience with black and grey box functional testing
  • 2+ years of experience in writing scripts in at least one language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
  • Proven track record creating and executing on highly effective quality processes
  • Is data driven – provides the right quality metrics to measure goals achievement for the organization.
  • Is innovative, can simplify, and has relentlessly high standards
  • Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and are able to synthesize the results
  • Able to handle an extremely fast pace while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
  • Experience working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and test-driven development environment
  • Experience with a number of different programming languages and test automation technologies
  • Experience implementing continuous integration models
