Job Description

Amazon is looking for outstanding Principal machine learning scientists to help build the next generation manufacturing testing communication interface. As a machine learning scientist, you will work with talented peers to develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques to advance the state of the art in test data management, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. Your work will directly impact our customers in the form of products and services.
Responsibilities: Establish, deliver and maintain quality, cost, and delivery dashboards and reporting in support of supply chain operations functions. Develop scripts to perform data mining, processing and reporting. Own report usability and drive consistency and standardization. Drive supplier integration into new and existing data stores. Ensure data integrity and scalability through enforcement of data standards and dynamic data validation. Create comprehensive and scalable data sources that can be used to manage the supply chain. Use data in both static and dynamic applications, supporting both reporting and feeding product forward and reverse logistics workflows for decision making. Leverage tools, data analysis techniques and industry best practices to create models that are both predictive and actionable. Create alert mechanisms for notifying support teams when excursions occur. Maintain technical records and audits to demonstrate compliance. Perform continuous productivity improvements based on team and process feedback.

Basic Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics with specialization in machine learning, related disciplines or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with one or more manufacturing services/product providers.
  • 10+ years of experience in Advance Manufacturing , Quality Assurance,HW design and HW test Solutions architecture and product management skills in building large scale manufacturing and supply chain solutions .
  • Experience with Quality Assurance procedures and principle for vendors, suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • Background in statistics and executive level dash-boarding of manufacturing data.
  • Experience in continuous process improvement.
  • Programming experience in C/C++, Java, or Python or relevant platform.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or industry equivalent experience in statistical analysis ,reporting and quality strategy.
  • MS/MBA in EE/CS/IE or Operations/Supply chain .
  • Experience with failure reporting, analysis and corrective action systems (FRACAS).
  • Experience with test automation, Cloud based MES development , Factory and warehouse automation .
