Since then, we have produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create?

The Role:

We are redesigning our supply chain management and need a strong owner/communicator to drive the design. This role is rife with ambiguity, and we are looking for someone who can embrace the challenge of solving complex problems and deliver improvements or new processes from scratch. The successful candidate will be a leader, highly collaborative, globally minded and have an extremely high level of customer focus and cultural sensitivity. Candidates must be motivated self-starter that can work both independently and with others in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.

The candidate will be translating business requirements into practical solutions across a complex value/supply chain. They will be expected to implement and oversee these solutions and effectively, managing the team and day-to-day relationships. Program managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. You will also bridge the technical and business worlds as you create new tools and services that drive efficiencies in operations. You'll work with multiple teams from Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance and across multiple business units.

The position requires industry experience encompassing new product development, inventory strategy and integrated demand planning, sourcing and commodity management, manufacturing footprint strategy and operations, distribution network and logistics optimization, and sustainability. Using programmatic approaches, leverage analytics capabilities, you will drive solutions to lower costs, reduce response times and increase productivity.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with implementing large scale systems and technologies
  • Data analytic and visualization experience utilizing tools like Tableau and AWS, including scripting in SQL and VBA
  • Experience in creating and managing cross-team project plans; experience in driving execution of large-scale project with multiple teams in support of business goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of software development life cycle, including code reviews, build processes, testing, deployment and change management
  • Knowledge of device product development life cycle, including navigating in a Product Lifecycle Management tool like Agile PLM
  • 7+ years of data access/preparation including data warehousing and data modeling concepts
  • Results-oriented/self-directed ability to drive change in unstructured environment
  • Strong team player and ability to build relationships with cross functional partners
  • Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience
